How can I purchase this addictive kettle corn?

A: NBNKC is located in Birmingham, Al. We offer several  ways to get your hands on our addictive kettle corn. We offer easy curbside or walk ins during our production hours at our Woodlawn location: 5831 1st Ave N St. 200 Birmingham, Al 35212

Can NBNKC be a vendor at our event? We love poppin' up at community events and neighborhoods.

A: Please submit an event request form on our events page so that a team member can confirm availability and events details. All event confirmation is based on availability.

Is there a fee to come to our event?

A: We are always happy to be a part of a community or neighborhood event to help create an enjoyable snack experience.  We are able to attend events for a period of 2 to 3 hours.  These fees could be subject to a set up fee or pre orders.  We take each event on a case by case basis and would love to discuss your needs.

How can I contribute to a successful event?

Market market market to your community to make sure the community can be prepared as we work hard to deliver the freshest most delicious snack possible. We strive to create a win win event. In the case of inclement weather, have a weather contingency plan and be prepared to offer pre orders as an option.

When should I book for our event?

A: We recommend booking your event at least 2 months in advance if possible as our schedule books quickly.  If it is outside of this window please proceed with submitting your request as we do have schedule changes that could allow us to attend the event.

 

Do you travel to events outside of Birmingham, AL for onsite popping catered events?

A: We are happy to accommodate events outside of Birmingham, Al. Out of town vendor request will be reviewed as all local events are reviewed. Catered events are offered additional charges may apply for events outside of a 25 mile radius from our main location.

Is NBNKC a franchise?

A: We are currently privately owned and locally operated.  Franchise opportunities coming soon.

What flavors do you offer?

A: We are an artisanal kettle corn company. All of our flavors have a sweet and salty base. We have a simple and fresh concept. Our flavors consist of NBN Original Sweet and Salty, Cheddar Makes It Better, French Toast, Birmingham Mix, Salted Caramel Crunch and Jalapeño PoPper. New Seasonal flavors and Make Your Local PoP flavors are popping up throughout the year.

What are the Make Your Local PoP flavors?

A: Make Your Local PoP flavors are flavors created from local business partnerships. We work together to create new and fun flavors highlighting other popping brands within the community.

What events will you attend?

A: Please see our events page on our website. We also encourage our Popheads to check our FB or IG for updates.

What are your ingredients?

A: Our basic ingredients consist of NON GMO kernels, corn oil, sugar, salt, cinnamon, natural and artificial caramel flavoring, dehydrated cheddar or dehydrated jalapeños. Our product is gluten free, NON GMO and we do not use preservatives. Some of our ingredients maybe produced in a facility that also produces nuts and dairy. We do not use actual nuts while producing our product. Some of our products may contain dairy such as cheese flavors and caramel.

How long does your kettle corn stay fresh?

A: Our kettle corn can be enjoyed up to 3 weeks in our standard packaging.  It can be enjoyed up to 6 weeks in our tin packaging.  Keep sealed and in a cool space until you are ready to munch.

Can you help us with our fundraiser?

A: Under our Poppin with a Purpose Campaign, we are able to support fundraisers for tax exempt organizations and educational structures. Percentages are determined by our budget and the goals of the fundraiser. Submit a fundraiser request form and visit fundraiser options on our page.

Can we start a fundraiser if we are a for profit business?

A: We can offer fundraising to for profit businesses who maybe supporting a Not- For Profit organization. A letter or TAX ID must be on the organization’s letterhead and a contact person. Special donation proceeds may apply to for profit businesses 

Does order ship on the date the order is requested?

A: Please click on the order link on our page to submit all order request which will include orders and donation request.

Can you ship to a P.O. Box?

A: All orders should have a main address. We will not be able to ship to a P.O. Box.

Do you cater?

A: If you are having a special event and looking for a unique product, we can help. We offer pre popped catering and on site popping. All options are based on availability. Submit a catering request form or please contact us to confirm availability.

Can I customize my order?

A: We like to add a special touch to your order to make your event POP! Customization options are available in labels for our Mini Snacks, Snack, Gallon Bags, Gable Boxes and tins. Minimum of 25 for: Mini Snacks Snacks Gallon Gable Boxes Minimum of 96 for for tins: Quart Poppin’ Pail Double Gallon All designs must be uploaded at the time of order to process labels. Design should be for a 3×4 or a 2×2 sticker and an additional charge may apply per label. Perfect all occasions virtual and in person: Weddings, bridal parties or engagement parties, political campaigns, birthdays celebrations, corporate , fundraising, sales and marketing, baby showers, graduation, preview and watch parties, anniversary celebration and family movies nights.

Do you deliver?

A: Yes we deliver within Birmingham and up to 25 miles from our location. A delivery fee may apply. Orders must be 100 or more to qualify for a delivery. Shipping or local pickup is a great option.

Do you offer bulk pricing?

A: Events big or small, we celebrate them all. Many of our Pophead events are event serving several hundred guest. Where else can you find fresh, unique, artisal kettlecorn to accommodate any occasion. Orders over 600 pieces would be considered for our built in bulk pricing.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

A: We commit to up to 2 wholesale accounts annually. We are excited to partner with establishments where our product and brand aligns. Wholesale pricing is based on frequency and quantities of orders and specific packing applies. Contact our team at order@nbnkettlecorn.com for more information.

Can I change or cancel an order?

A: We understand that life happens. We want to help you celebrate life’s sweetest moments. Orders must be cancelled 5 days prior to pickup. If you do not cancel within 5 days, you will receive an in store credit. No refunds apply. 

Do you offer vegan options?

A: We love our vegan community. We work daily to offer vegan friendly options. While many of our flavors are accidentally vegan, we pride ourselves in being able to create flavors that align with the vegan lifestyle. Please note that our main ingredients consist of corn oil, pure can sugar, salt, and is processed in a facility that processes nuts and dairy.

What is your most popular flavor

A: The Pophead Favorite is Our NBN Original Sweet and Salty made with simple ingredients sugar, salt pure cane sugar but the real crowd pleaser is the Birmingham Mix a unique blend of Cheddar Makes It Better and French Toast Flavors. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of our flavors. 

What is your kettle corn shelf life?

A: We pride ourselves is offering the freshest snack possible. Our kettle to hand process ensures you are getting a snack you won’t be able to get enough of. We do not use preservatives. On average, our kettle corn stays fresh for 10 days to 2 weeks in our sealed bags a cool space away from direct light  with a shorter shelf life in the summer and longer in the winter. Our snack last up to 4 weeks in our Magic City Tins. Try putting our  kettle corn in the freezer and it will stay fresh longer. It has a low moisture content, so it will not freeze.

Who do I contact if there is an issue with my order?

A: If you are having technical issues with placing an order for pickup or delivery on the Naughty But Nice Kettle Corn Co. website, please call 205-915-2528 or visit nbnkettlecorn.com and submit a contact form. Please have your order number ready.

How are payments applied?

A: For products such as gifts cards payment is due upfront. You are able to purchase at the donation amount agreed upon sell for the amount of gift card to your supporters. Custom options such as tins or labels for bags a deposit of 50% is due at the time of order. This amount is due prior to the fundraiser beginning. The remainder due at submission of total funds raised at the end of the fundraiser.

Where can NBNKC deliver?

A: Our delivery range will vary but we generally offer local pickups while fundraising. Speak to your Popraising Ambassador to discuss options.

Which NBNKC items are available for pick up and shipping?

A: Our Online Ordering menu includes the determined products from package options chosen standard snack and  gallon bags or custom tins. The flavors will include up to our standard flavor options: Original, Sweet and Salty, Cheddar Makes It Better, Bham Mix, Salted Caramel and Jalapeño Popper.  With gift card options, there are no product or flavor restrictions provided that those flavors and products are available.

Can I earn reward credits for online orders placed through the NBNKC website?

A: As a Pophead we love rewarding you for your support and purchases. Currently, rewards points can be received and redeemed at our production space or Ms. Poppy food truck. Online points system coming soon.

How does our organization know how much percentage we are approved for?

A: NAUGHTY BUT NICE KETTLE CORN CO. receives a large amount of fundraising request each year. Our goal is to help as many schools and organizations as possible. During the application process, our Community Pophead Ambassador and team determines a percentage we can give between 25% and 50%. This percentage is based on our quarterly budget and what is available to contribute to each fundraiser.  An approval or postponed letter with confirmed percentage is sent to each application.

Is Popraising really profitable?

A: Popraising can be profitable and fun with proper planning! Please see tips to a successful fundraiser. Across the U.S. in recent years religious, educational, and charitable organizations and for profit businesses supporting a cause collectively raised money for or met their goals.

Who qualifies for popraising?

A: We will approve for-profit organizations and not-for-profit organizations may be to be participate in our Popraising Program and the  proceeds must be fully used to benefit a group/cause that is one of the following types (verification required for approval): 1) EDUCATIONAL OR MENTAL HEALTH– proceeds are being used to support a school or educational institution or a school-related organization (e.g., club/student/parent group; athletics; band/choral; school equipment; student development; scholarships). 2) RELIGIOUS – proceeds are being used to support faith-based activities or church-related organizations (e.g., youth group; missions; benevolent programs; building fund; congregational support). 3) CHARITABLE – proceeds are being used to support a registered 501(c) charitable organization.  4) SPORTS AND COMMUNITY – proceeds are being used to support community-based activities devoted exclusively to charitable, educational, or recreational purposes and not for individual or commercial gain.

 

How can I ensure I have a sucsessful fundraising event with NBNKC Popraising?

A: Pre-market your fundraiser and get the word out early. Connect to friends and family via email, text message and  social channels and let them know about your fundraiser.  Keep a list of all your supporters, name, email address, telephone number and if their money has been collected in person or orders have been submitted online.

Can I have kettle corn sent directly to my supporters?

A: Yes You Can! Popraising with Naughty But Nice Kettle Corn Co. has never been so fun and easy. When running an online fundraiser, orders placed online can be shipped to the supporter. Shipping fees do apply. Easy, Fun Profitable, Quick! 

Once approved for fundraising, is there a timeframe in which I must start and end my fundraising?

A: Based on the program you choose, start times could vary. After approval date, popraising can start immediately when downloading approved form the website. Please see tips on a successful fundraising to determine times frames to support a winning fundraiser. Pre Sell Options are recommended for 3 to 4 weeks to maximize profits. For custom labels and tin options, please allow two weeks to process design. A design fee, print set up fee and color fee applies to design. Pre orders and deposits are required and could take up to 4 weeks to process. We begin the design and print at the start of your fundraiser to have a timely delivery of goods. Please note that production and shipping times could vary based on vendor and could impact a delay in processing. Having information at the start of fundraiser will assist with expediting your order. Please have the original logo file in an esp file. Please attach in application.

What information should I include on my NBNKC Popraising form to ensure that I am approved and the process is expedited?

A: Tax ID: If you are raising money on behalf of an organization, reach out to your organization chair to request the tax id/EIN number for application approval. This will help the application processing time

Purpose of the fundraiser: Please include a short sentence describing what you will be doing with the funds you raise. Example: club/student/parent group; athletics; band/choral; school equipment

Organization Information: Please include or use the organizational address and phone number you are supporting. This information is needed to verify the organizational information.

Website or social links: If a Tax ID is not available, please include a website or social link that supports the organization or cause, you are fundraising to benefit. Example: If your dance team or sports team etc., has a Facebook page include a link.
